CSSEDIT 2.6 (macrabbit)
CSS editor for the Macintosh.
Dreamweaver CS3 (ADOBE)
Dreamweaver has been quite dominant in the WYSIWYG web development world in the past seven years, in part because if its tight integration with Flash, Fireworks, Freehand and ColdFusion.
FreeWay Express 5.1.3 and FreeWay Pro 5.1.3 (SoftPress Systems)
FreeWay is an interesting program. First, the price is great (below $90 US). Second, it is the only WYSIWYG alternative to Dreamweaver or GoLive. Some idiosyncrasies may slow down developers used to the bigger players, but overall it is the only low cost, high quality tool for WYSIWYG web development.
Goldfish 2.1.1 (Fishbeam Software)
From the web site: “This fish is small but smart: Goldfish can create your individual websites in a few simple steps. With it's special, easy to use interface, you can place items on your page using drag and drop: no code required. Even a beginner can create a professional website with Goldfish.”
GoodPage 1.3.1 (TARI)
HTML and CSS authoring tool, with site management capabilities.
iWeb 2.0.4 (Apple)
Another little pearl from Apple. Elegant, simple, flexible (although with important limitations), iWeb is a very promising product that could compete in this new generation of web development tools designed for the rest of us (e.g., Rapid Weaver).

Komposer 0.7.10 (SourceForge)
From the site: “KompoZer is a complete web authoring system that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG web page editing. KompoZer is designed to be extremely easy to use, making it ideal for non-technical computer users who want to create an attractive, professional-looking web site without needing to know HTML or web coding.”
Nvu 1.0 (Daniel Glazman)
From the author's page: "A complete Web Authoring System for Linux Desktop users as well as Microsoft Windows and Macintosh users to rival programs like FrontPage and Dreamweaver. Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") makes managing a web site a snap. Now anyone can create web pages and manage a website with no technical expertise or knowledge of HTML."
Nvu DOES NOT SEEM TO BE UNDER ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT ANYMORE, but KompoZer seems to be the spin off (unofficial bug-fix release).
Oxygen XML Editor 8.2 (SyncRO Soft Ltd.)
From the company: "oXygen is a multiplatform XML editor, schema editor and XSLT debugger that covers all the today's XML technologies. The powerful transformation support allows you not only to edit and validate XML, XSLT and XSL-FO documents but also to obtain documents in the desired output format like HTML, PS, PDF, etc. with just one click."

From the company's site: "RapidWeaver is a next-generation web design application to help you easily create professional looking web sites in minutes. No knowledge of HTML, CSS or even javascript is required, RapidWeaver will take care of all that for you."
Sandvox 1.2.8 (Karelia Software)
From the web site:” Sandvox is fast becoming the website creation tool for people who want to spend time developing their lives, not their websites. Creating a website can be easy and elegant. Drag and drop content, watch your site take shape as you create it, and make it available to others with Sandvox's publishing assistant. Sandvox is that simple—and that powerful.”
Site Studio 1.1.1 (dot software)
From the site: "It is the ease and simplicity of Site Studio that makes it a leader of the web design revolution. From paper to web in minutes. From one look to another in seconds. Dynamic content plugins like a blog, an image gallery, and a WYSIWYG editor put it at the top of its class. If you are ready for a world of hassle free web design, then Site Studio is for you." THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE UNDER ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT ANYMORE. IT IS NOW FOUND AS A FREE DOWNLOAD ON A NUMBER OF SITES (including the one above).
Style Master 4.6 (WESTCIV)
CSS editor for Mac and Windows.
